Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Big R Fitness ("the app", "we") is made by Online Radio Solutions LLC, the company behind Big R Radio. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: your data is used to run your diary, your workouts and your coach. We never sell it and never use your health data for ads.
What we collect
- Your profile: name (optional), age, sex, height, weight, goals, units and app settings you choose.
- What you log: foods and meals, water, weight, steps, cardio and strength workouts, and photos you choose to scan for food logging.
- Coach chats: the messages you send your AI coach and its replies.
- Buddies: if you add accountability buddies, your daily food and workout summary is shared with the buddies you connect with. You can remove a buddy any time.
- Watch and health data (phone app only, only with your permission): workouts, steps, distance, heart rate and active calories read from Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android).
Apple Health and Health Connect
- We only read or write health data after you allow it in Apple Health or Health Connect. You can turn access off there at any time.
- We read workouts, steps, distance, heart rate and active calories so your watch activity shows in your Big R diary. We write the calories you burn in Big R workouts and the weight you log.
- Health data is used only to show your activity, totals, medals and coaching inside the app. It is never sold, never used for advertising or marketing, and never shared with data brokers.
- Use of data from Health Connect follows the Health Connect Permissions policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How we use your data
- To run the app: your diary, totals, progress charts, workout programs, medals and buddies.
- To power AI features: food photo and text logging, recipes from your fridge, and your AI coach. To answer, the AI is given the parts of your diary it needs (for example today's food and workouts).
- To keep the app working and secure, and to fix problems.
Who processes it
We use a small number of service providers to run the app, under contracts that only let them process data for us:
- Cloudflare hosts the app and database, and runs the AI models (Cloudflare Workers AI).
- Open Food Facts and USDA FoodData Central provide food data. We send them food searches and barcodes, not who you are.
- Workout music is our own built-in workout music, or Spotify or Apple Music played in their official players inside the app. Spotify and Apple run under their own privacy policies; we don't send them your diary or health data.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your choices
- Download your data: Me โ Download my data.
- Delete everything: Me โ Delete my account. This erases your diary, workouts, coach chats and health data we stored.
- Stop health sync: turn off Big R Fitness in Apple Health or Health Connect settings.
- Buddies: remove buddies in Me โ Buddies.
Keeping it safe
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Your app is tied to a private key stored on your device; we store only a scrambled version of it. No system is perfect, so please keep your device secure.
Kids
Big R Fitness is not for children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires), and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Not medical advice
The app and the AI coach give general fitness and nutrition information, not medical advice. Check with your doctor before starting any new exercise or diet program.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy we'll update the date above and tell you in the app when the change matters. Questions or requests: support@bigrfitness.com.
